Locating the Install Directory

Before you can begin the installation of TangoCMS, you must first go to the 'install' directory on your website via a web browser. If you have uploaded/moved the files for TangoCMS to the web/document root, then you will find this directory at

http://example.com/install

However, if you have uploaded/moved it to another directory within the web/document root then you will find it within that directory, such as

http://example.com/tangocms/install

Note: Throughout the Installation Guide, it will be assumed that you have uploaded/moved TangoCMS to the directory 'public_html/'.
