Pre-Installation Checks (Stage Two)

Pre-Installation checks need to be run to ensure that your environment meets the minimum requirements, and to make sure TangoCMS can write to certain directories and files.

If everything passes, you should see a link at the bottom labelled "Next". Click this button to continue to the next stage.

Checks Failed

However if you do not see the "Next" button, it means your environment has failed the pre-installation checks and you will need to resolve these issues before TangoCMS will let you continue.

You need to make sure that your webserver/user running the script (e.g common Apache setup is run as www-user) has permission to write to the specified directories and files. On Unix/Linux type operating systems you can use tools such as 'chmod' and 'chown' to set the correct permissions you need, however as every envrionment is different we can't given exact instructions on how to do this.
